The Royal George welcomes coach parties from every corner of the UK and further afield for a variety of visits from high tea and luncheon parties who are with us for a couple of hours, to long stay parties who find Perthshire and The Royal George the ideal base for all kinds of tours. Previous guest tours have included garden visits, golfing and fishing breaks, choirs and of course the world famous whisky trails!

Lunch and High Tea Parties

We are delighted to welcome group high tea and lunch parties to the hotel. You will find both menus and prices under this section on the left hand side of the page. These discounted rates and menus are only available to parties of over 30 persons, and we ask if we can be contacted in advance of to notify us of the order and your estimated time of arrival at the hotel. This allows us to make your visit to The Royal George as smooth as possible.

Group Accommodation Rates

We regularly accommodate group bookings at the Royal George and are able to offer the following discounted rates to groups of 20 persons or more. All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. 

Twin or double room from £40 per person per evening, bed and full Scottish breakfast*

Single room from £60 per person per evening, bed and full Scottish breakfast

Dinner may be added to your booking at £20 per person for three courses with coffee

* Price based on two people sharing a twin or double room. Prices may vary owing to availability and dates. Discounted rates may not be available during peak accommodation weeks. Please contact us with specific dates for a rate.

Hogmanay 2009 at The Royal George

Three evenings accommodation dinner bed and breakfast package, including dinner on the first evening, The Gala Dinner Dance on Hogmanay and our Dinner Dance on 1st January 2010.

The above discounted prices are only available to groups of 20 or more persons and are based on two persons sharing a twin or double room or a single person in single room and are inclusive of VAT at the standard rate.

Check in is available from 2pm on the day of arrival and guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 11am on the day of departure.Please hand your room key to reception upon departure.

Please note that from 26th March 2006, in accordance with Scottish Law, smoking was banned throughout all areas of The Royal George Hotel, including the restaurants, bars and function rooms within the hotel. Please note we also have a no smoking policy in all of our bedrooms.

Please note our group cancellation policy is 4 weeks prior to 2pm on the day of check-in. Cancellations should be made via email, letter or fax to the hotel. Confirmed bookings that have not been cancelled will be charged the full amount.
